HAPPENING AT WAAM

Butterfly-Making Workshops
Broken Monarchs with Marielena Ferrer

Artist Marielena Ferrer will lead a series of 30-minute workshops throughout all three days of Upstate Art Weekend as part of a six-week residency at WAAM. During her workshops, visitors will learn how to create paper butterflies like those that will be on view in WAAM’s YES Gallery throughout her time there. The workshops will also provide an opportunity for visitors to chat with the artist and discuss the conceptual underpinnings of her work.

This event is free and held on a drop-in basis; no reservations required.
