Definition: to make a search for someone or something in various places.
Synonyms: outrider, advance guard, vanguard, avant-courier.

Has there been a more uncertain time in recent history? For younger artists who are just starting out, there is no map; there is the unknown, the dark forest and the uncharted. But there is also immense possibility. Scout is an exhibition of work by 6 young artists addressing the mysterious and the liminal through drawing, photography, metal, painting and fiber artworks. These artists are part of the advance guard who will carve a path to the future and show us what is next.
