A life-long resident of New York’s Hudson Valley, Jane Bloodgood-Abrams paints landscapes inspired by the regional landscape as well as the works of 19th Century Hudson River School, Luminist and Tonalist painters. Bloodgood-Abrams received her Master of Fine Arts degree from the State University of New York at New Paltz, and a Bachelor of Studio Arts degree from the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY. She was inducted into the National Association of Women Artists, and is listed in “Who’s Who in American Art.”

Bloodgood-Abrams’ work has been chosen for numerous regional, national, and international exhibitions, including the New York State Biennial, The Mohawk -Hudson Regional, The Bienniale in Florence Italy, and exhibitions in Austria and Germany. She has held Artist Residencies in Platte Clove through the Catskill Center, and at Wiawaka House in Lake George, where Georgia O’Keefe and other historic artists have worked. The artist participated in a Rhine-Hudson Artist Exchange in Cologne, Germany and has been awarded grants from the Ludwig Vogelstein Foundation, and the New York Foundation for the Arts. Jane Bloodgood-Abrams’ paintings are included in numerous corporate, museum and private collections and she is represented in galleries throughout the Northeast and California.
