The Woodstock Artists Association & Museum is proud to support the artists of the mid-Hudson region. In addition to the exhibition opportunities presented at the WAAM, we are happy to share these notices of additional opportunities for artists. Did you know that by digitally submitting your work to any of our shows, you have gained access to a database of opportunities for artists?  Just click on https://www.submittable.com/discover and sign in using the same account you set up to submit your work to WAAM.  If you have never digitally submitted to WAAM, you can use the same link to set up an account

The Museum of Modern art offers a $35

discounted membership created for artists working in media represented in the Museum’s collection—painting, sculpture, drawing, prints, photography, filmmaking, video, architecture and design, and performance.
Send an e-mail artistmembership@moma.org  or visit Member Services in the Museum lobby. You’ll be asked to share an exhibition announcement, website, or current CV listing exhibitions or projects. You can include this material in your email request

The Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union,  85 Mill Hill Road will allow any artist  that maintains or opens an account ($100 minimum +$5 membership) to have a solo exhibition of their work on the bank’s walls for one month.  Requests for shows are granted in the order they are received and should be made to Georgene Fredericks, Branch Manager.

The Audubon Artist Residency provides selected artists and writers with the opportunity to spend two weeks living and working in the Todd Wildlife Sanctuary on Hog Island, home to the acclaimed Hog Island Audubon Camp. Residents stay at the historic Bingham Cottages site, from which they can easily explore the entire 330-acre island.  Details
