Rosella Hartman Paul Fiene Yasuo Kuniyoshi at the WAA

This photograph by Adrian Siegel shows Rosella Hartman (with back to camera), her husband sculptor Paul Fiene, and Yasuo Kuniyoshi, gathered around the table in the WAA(M) gallery. The table, made by Elizabeth Fraser, is still on display in the gallery today. The date of this photograph is currently unknown, but must have been taken some time before 1949 when Fiene died. Kuniyoshi’s painting “Child,” 1923 (now in the collection of the Whitney Museum of American Art) is on the wall, at left.
