Magic in the Mundane-“What I’m doing is actually very close to our normal way of looking at and thinking about the world. We slowly build up a whole web of associations and meanings.”–Thomas Nozkowski. Any normal, everyday object can spark an artist. Found on a walk, in a secondhand store, or an abandoned garage, the mundane, in the right hands, can grow to beauty. Artists in this show, like Nozkowski, move through their work intuitively, building slowly, step by step, a world particular and personal.
