About the JurorKaren Quinn is Senior Historian/Curator, Art and Culture at New York State Museum. An art historian she is especially interested in painters’ working methods as well as the attraction of artists to specific places, including locations throughout New York. She is currently researching and building the museum’s collection of art, including decorative arts, paintings, works on paper, architecture, photography, popular culture, literature, and music related to New York State.
