2024 Solo Show Application: Members

2024 SOLO SHOW APPLICATION
OPEN FOR SUBMISSION: August 7 – September 5, 2023, midnight.

One of benefits of WAAM membership is the opportunity for a one-person exhibition in our solo gallery. Artists selected for Solo Shows have the opportunity to present a focused body of work making a significant statement of the issues and aesthetics that drive their practice. Submissions to Solo Shows take place each year in September for the following year’s schedule of exhibitions.

One esteemed juror selects the artists for the entire year’s solo programming; usually six artists. Those who have applied in the past and not gotten in, should consider reapplying since each juror’s aesthetic, ideology and point of view varies widely. Artists who’ve been awarded a solo show in the last five years at WAAM are ineligible for re-application.

Applications are open to all artists within a 50 mile radius of Woodstock, NY. Non-members pay a $40 application fee, (there is no fee for WAAM members). Artists selected for a solo show are asked to procure a full WAAM membership within 30 days of notification of their acceptance. The $40 non-member fee will be applied toward their annual membership fee. All submissions are welcome.
