Workshop with Artist-in-Residence, Ana O’Keefe
Saturday, September 28 | 3-5pm
WAAM invites visitors to participate in a public workshop with artist-in-residence, Ana O’Keefe. In Rebuilding Blocks, on view from August 16–October 6, O’Keefe invites and challenges viewers to confront the question, what is a school for? Through paintings, mixed media, and immersive, hands-on experiences, this show looks at school—the idea of school, the school space, the act of schooling—from multiple angles. Participants walk away with new perspectives on what makes a school strong, resilient, and a place they want to be a part of.
FREE – all ages welcome! Drop-in.
