WAAM’s fourth annual medium-based exhibition showcases the diverse possibilities of wax. Works on view utilize encaustic and cold wax techniques, as well as innovative approaches that incorporate experimental techniques, mixed media, and alternative processes. A variety of themes and concepts are explored, whether through striking compositions, conceptual narratives, or abstract interpretations. Works push boundaries and experiment with the medium in creative ways, blending wax with other materials or processes to create unique pieces.
