Let’s Talk About the Stories We Tell

Let’s Talk About the Stories We Tell:
A discussion in conjunction with Every Picture Tells a Story
Thursday, August 7 | 5-6pm

If every picture tells a story, what might those stories be?
Do stories have a shape?
How are visual and written stories different?
Do artists and viewers tell the same stories?

Please join WAAM member John Ebbert for an evening of discussion about such things. Lend your voice to a conversation about the meaning behind the stories we tell ourselves when we make or view art.
John practices drawing, building, and learning how to write. He is an active member of SCBWI Eastern Upstate New York (critique coordinator) and the Hudson Valley Writers Workshop. Along with his wife, artist/illustrator Mison Kim, he set up a publishing company, Dooleyglot Books, to produce a series of bilingual baby board books.  He is a prolific writer and poet, his  short stories have appeared in the Hudson Valley’s Chronogram magazine and in small anthologies.
