SOLO GALLERY
Every year WAAM invites a selection of Active Members to exhibit their work together in the Solo Gallery. The artists are selected based on how long they have been Active Members, and each artist is awarded a wall on which to install a grouping of their work. These artists have advanced from Associate Member to Active Member status in three possible ways: through selection for a solo exhibition; because their work was accepted into four juried shows over the course of two years; or because their work was accepted through WAAM’s in-person or online Active Member jurying process. This year’s featured artists are Joan Barker, Deborah Freedman, Dan Goldman, Maddie Goldman, Karen Schaffel, and Marianne Tully. This exhibition is coordinated by Active Member and Gallery Assistant, Sue DeSanna.
