D.R.A.W. Kingston: New Department Holdings

The Department of Regional Art Workers (D.R.A.W.) in collaboration with the WAAM Education Program presents New Departmental HoldingsStudent Work from a Variety of Experiences @ the D.R.A.W.

The Department of Regional Art Workers exhibits a selection of student work from programs and workshops held during  the 2018 season. Animation, sculpture and photography from summer Teen Art Lab@ Kingston Library, drawings from Costumed Model Drawing Sessions, Teen Zine, monoprints from Curated Shorts, and journal entries from the Pop Up Gallery Group or PUGG (PUGG engages young artist with the community by creating an exhibition space for Kingston Alum) Summer session.

In support of a dynamic new organization in Kingston, WAAM collaborated with the D.R.A.W. to curate a show of recent work from their programming.

The Department of Regional Art Workers is a growing community of artists, educators, entrepreneurs and students who believe in the ability of the arts to act as an agent of change. We believe a strong art education significantly enhances the character, quality of life, and economy of our neighborhoods.

We feel D.R.A.W.’s mission aligns with goals of the WAAM Education and Outreach programs.
