WAAM DIALOGUES

Begun in 2008, WAAM’s Dialogues series of lectures, panel discussions, performances, films and concerts was created to provide complimentary programming to our dynamic exhibition schedule. The focus of this year’s events will concentrate on new media and interdisciplinary forms of art-making which have become a vital part of contemporary art conversation. Events including panel discussions, workshops and artist’s talks will be presented in conjunction with performances and installations created by some of the region’s most distinguished artists. The presentations will illuminate the concept of continuity through change that is at the core of the Dialogues series programming to explore the history and contemporary practice of art. WAAM Dialogues series is supported with funds from the New York State Council on the Arts.
