OPENING RECEPTION: Saturday, October 15, 4-6pm
YES GALLERY
When a Mandarin Loves a Woman is an exhibition of works by painter Cayetano Navarrete. The works in the exhibition focus on the idea of visualizing the cosmos and the human body through the exploration of sacred geometry and the color orange. Square canvases covered in different shades of shimmering warm tones invite moments of meditation as works reveal their construction and shifting imagery. Cayetano’s paintings explore the relationship between the external world and the human vessel – the internal self and the unbounded mind.
