Curated by Janice La Motta

The WAAM inaugurates its centennial year with an exhibition of works selected by invited members of the community, from the postman to politicians, who have chosen their favorite works from WAAM’s Permanent Collection. Established in 1973, the Permanent Collection preserves and promotes the work of important American artists who have lived and created in the Woodstock region. WAAM’s Permanent Collection contains over 2,200 objects that include paintings, works on paper, sculpture, and photography representing artists that include George Ault, Milton Avery, George Bellows, Konrad Cramer, Andrew Dasburg, Philip Guston and Yasuo Kuniyoshi among many others. The WAAM’s Permanent Collection can be viewed online 24/7/365 at hvvacc.org
