Nancy Campbell

A near lifelong resident of Ulster County, Saugerties artist Nancy Campbell cites the Catskills landscape as her first muse. A four year stint living in Europe during the early 1990's enriched and reinvigorated her vision and she has had the occasion to revisit favorite places there for further inspiration. The beautiful woodlands, streams, and towns of the Hudson Valley, however, still provide ample subject matter and Nancy's favorite subjects include scenes of life from local village streets.

Nancy was educated locally, at Ulster County Community College, and at the Woodstock School of Art, where she studied with Staats Fasoldt for several years.

She has owned the Half Moon Studio in the village of Saugerties since 1998, which serves as both gallery for her own and other artists' work, and as art studio. Nancy resides in Saugerties with her husband and has three sons. You may contact Nancy at:
